Skoda to launch a new sedan in competition to Vento

They are going to launch Rapid with diesel auto too. I so wish that they keep its price below Vento tdi HL & give us the DSG.

This Mid Sedan Segment is just having competition heating up - benefitiing consumers. With Fluidic Verna, New Fiesta, Honda City Facelift, VW Vento - to all of them Skoda New Car Rapid coming up with a Strong Competition. Whats more is that - even the Car will be launched in both Petrol and Diesel version and will be competitively priced too. 

Skoda Rapid 1600 CC engine with 105 BHP with fine tune up by Skoda Cars will surely create wonders. Even automatic climate control will also be present.

Skoda yet not disclosed the information about features and specifications about Skoda Rapid. I gathered a small information that it will be well supportive of a CD/ Mp3/ Radio Audio system with at least 4 speakers in order to deliver sharp acoustics.

Skoda rapid will not be competiting vento.It will be competiting nissan sunny and honda city and civic

Skoda rapid is an awesome sedan. This car will create tough competition in sedan car segment.

Infact Skoda is known for its diesel technology - the power and performance . It will be a real game changer for Mid Sedans - Verna n Vento

I've read from this:- http://www.mycarhelpline.com/index.php?option=com_latestnews&view=detail&n_id=35&Itemid=10 that price will be 6.99 Lacs for Petrol n 7.99 Lacs for Diesel with top of line safety n other features. It will really take the throne away from the existing leaders

Yesterday I saw it & was bit disappointed . No doubt car looks very good compare to Vento & others . Exterior is really nice but interiors are let down .  It is not poor  but lifted straight from Vento !! . Nobody can say whether it is Vento or Rapid from inside . It is only steering that can says Skoda .I would prefer different interiors . Atleast brown plastics should have been replaced with Black one .

First impression is good one though . Pricing is unknown . Next week I will TD it as TD car was not available .
