Maruti Swift (Diesel) mileage/average?

I got 24.5kmpl when I drove extra polite and with ac on.. I have also clocked 17kmpl at the worst of my driving moods.. but usually I get a constant 20 to 21kmpl..  This includes some city drive..some long run..some difficult hilly rides etc.. This 20 to 21 figure is almost constant for me unless there is a great variability in driving style.. Most of the time I cruise at 70 to 80km/hr speed.. even in ghat roads.. But even on on highways I keep myself below 100 and  rarely cross 120..( I dont have a 4 lane traffic anywhere near my place....). I use upgraded 195/60/14 tyres..

Hi...........dear sir/madam,

I Plan to buy a Maruti swift diesel. Tell me which one is better LDi, Or  VDi, sift desire.............
And Wts is the difference?
pls tell me the on an average in the city . or any other outside city or on an average hoghway ,

one more thing is the engine cc, or desire .............or the cost of car is outside octoi .in mumbai outside octri naka .what is the cost ..........with registration ,insurance or any other facility to buy the nice & beuityful car in a disel version. When I compare various Swift models I can't find mileage of Maruti Swift VDi (Diesel), can someone give me idea about it?

I am also from MAngalore Pl let me know where do you service your car in mangalore.

I have been trying to understand the Swift diesel Millage to pin down my purchse of swift diesel my req is only FE as i travel more then 45KM /Day.

Any body in this forum is  swift diesel owner more then 2yrs.

Appriciate your views on FE and maiantance and major issues faced after 2yrs of ownership of swift diesel.

I am owing VDi - diesel version.Excellent performance & pleasure to drive.it offers FE depending on "way of driving" - at 60 kmph - it offers 20 km/lt.i had taken it to Karnataka in May 2011 and travelled around 3400 kms in 8 days. all this with AC on. i got an average of 19.6 km/ lt.i only caution to maintain 2 points carefully

1] Diesel quality -possibly from one source if possible

2] Tyre pressure

believe me, it would give you fabulous resutls coupled with pleaures.do not think of nay other car than SWIFT-diesel.

hi I am using Swift Vdi from last 3 months. I have driven about 5000 Kms so far,and getting a mileage of 20km/liter.

additionally I want to mention that I drive 150 km per day,and have 80 km highway and 70 km very heavy city(Noida) traffic.
