I own a FIAT Grande Punto Emotion Pack 1.4 petrol for which I am looking to renew the insurance. I current have a ICICI Lombard insurance that I got from ABS Motors (Gurgaon) while buying the car. I am looking for a comprehensive insurance plan which will hopefully include my airbags and alloys. Can you tell me of a good plan? My IDV currently is 5,33,000.
I checked with the plans from some insurance companies and TATA-AIG is giving me a premium of 11,500 at IDV of 4,60,000. And National (through the dealer) comes to 11,900 at IDV of 4,80,000. The dealer also mentioned a Chola 360 plan which he claims also includes roadside assistance and includes 100% of all expenses. This comes from 16,250 at IDV of 5,00,000. Now I am confused on which one to take? Do all plans generally include alloy wheel? I know that for the TATA-AIG and National plans, I will have to bear 50% of the airbag costs (which the dealer claims is 60,000 a piece!!).
