VW Vento - Ownership Experience

Maybe you can ask the dealer to give you some rebate in the price for torturing you so much!! Point is, its kind of a grey area as far as blaming is concerned...the dealer may or may not have known the reality (the company's status as far as delivery is concerned) while he committed the dates, I guess we can't be sure of which.

Rohit , he was confident & sure. In fact I gave him 2 days before I booked my car with him, but it seems that he just tried his luck with me.

Now update is that I visited showroom late evening & met the sales manager. He THANKED me for speaking with the Regional manager  & assured me that my car will be dispatched from the plant in a day or 2 & I will be delivered my car now. He thanked me because due to my bashing & discussion he was also able to get 2 more deliveries from VW. CAN YOU BEAT THIS???

This prooves that ,this happanes ONLY IN INDIA .

Hope there is no more suspense for me now.

BEST OF LUCK!!! And do try to extract some goodies out from the sales manager for helping him get 2 more cars from the company!

@Rohit Please prey for me that I will be delivered my car before those 2  guys , before the dealer delivers my car to some one else BY MISTAKE  & I will have to start all over again. as said Every thing is possible here in India.

yesterday i saw a vento diesel base model & sadly i didint find it to be attractive. hope VW improves it design.

it looks so small from outside, even smaller than the Dzire.

Sent followup msg to Mr. Indrajit Dhumal , to confirm that my car will be delivered by 25th, & the reply I gt was

 I am out of town & will discuss once I am back on 22nd.

This is Pathetic. I sent him a reply , that at his level he just need to make few phone calls & confirm to me what my delaer now claiming that I will be deliveredmy car by 25th.  I do not see any logic to wait till 22nd. This certainly means that there is no communication between the dealer & the VW. Am I still been taken for a ride???

I am really upset with this whole issue.

Have called my dealer again , according to him its between the MD of VW West & VW now. He will come back to me by today evening.

This suspence story is never ending. This is SICK of VW & Dealer.

Master , you must have seen Vento ad on tv . Their people are very reluctant to let Vento go outside their plant . So delay is obvious !!! .

Just assure them that you would take good care of THEIR Vento . This will certainly help to get it fast !!

Hope you will get it before Diwali .
