Mine is a 2010 Jan S version. Goodyear GT3 is the stock tyres. The stepney tyre had broken sidewalls, which was found during 10000km tyre rotation routine. After a long delay(30 days+) the unused tyre was replaced by Goodyear. Peninsular Honda told that the delay is caused by Goodyear authorities.Undecided

Another problem is poor shock absorption in low speed on rough roads. What I observed is that if we are on slow speeds(0-30 kph), the shocks and undulations seem to be passed on as they are. Whereas, when I am on high speeds(say over 40 kph), the shocks and undulations are well masked before reaching the occupants of the vehicle. This may be something to do with stiffer suspensions, where-as the same stiffer suspension improve handling and make it lasts long. I am going to seek a solution for this when I go for service next time. Can we change the stock suspenion? What would be the approximate cost?

I love my car. But I won't say it is the best in its class.

I have found this a very useful website for tyre upsizing and related tyre information. They have the best tyre search! A michelin tyre dealer in chennai. They have a tyre upsize calculator and the link is on the top of the page:

Well, i too have a V MT model with company fitting Good Year tyres.

What i think is that they have tie up with different tyre companies & whoever gives them best deals they fit those tyres.

More on tyre issues, i even wanted to increase my Ground clearance with bigger tyres & raised the issue to Carwale team, i got a reply from their end, read below

"If you get higher profile tyres, you will have to consider getting smaller rims. The overall aspect ratio / profile should remain to be the same. Else you will run into problems like tyres hitting shock absorbers or body of the car"
