Let me know if some one has an experience of using the puncture kit for tubeless tyres. Is it worth buying one?

For the cost surely yes. For minor punctures and small to medium nails the kit can be surely used. It would be great to have specially on the highways in emergency conditions.

Inserting the rubber strips is not that easy as mentioned in the instructions. I tried once and wasted two strips, as while pushing the strip with the insert tool, the tyre curves/bends inside making the insertion difficult. Later on I found the puncture repair shops follow an easy way. The tyre needs to be inflated (after widening the hole if required) with the widening tool still inserted in the puncture. Once the tyre is almost 3/4th inflated, the widening tool is removed and the strip(s) is pushed inside the puncture with the insert tool. As the tyre becomes stiff there is no curving/bending while pushing the strip inside.

Hi,

It is very helpful...I have bought 1 recently after I got fedup with lot many punctures happening.

Really very simple and easy to use this kit (I have used once till now). I bought the kit with 5 strips for 189 Rs. from indiatimes shopping. Paying 80 Rs for 1 puncture is just too much costly.

Best way to get puncture corrected is replace punctured tire with spare tire. Go to nearby puncturewala to inflate tire. Go bit away from him and remove puncture urself.  really simple
