planning to buy i20 diesel!!Need some help...

my i20 is ok at 5150 kms. Planning a 300 km trip from hosur to chennai this month end. Will have to check the FE. Good for speed driving. 120kph is very quick and no effort.

Regarding discounts, any offered for i20 crdi? Other than the usual freebies I mean.

there is some cash discount and exchange bonus as im gonna exchange my old lovely 800 to new i20. what are the usual freebies the dealers give? i have no idea about it though.

there is new facelifted i20 comin next year probably on march or april.

i would like to know what would be the bill for a service approx? as some one scared me that for 1st service they got a bill of 7k.

I HAVE DONE 40 K ON MY I 20 DIESEL. BOTH THE FRONT SHOCKERS ARE GONE. HYUNDAI HAS OFFERED TO REPLACE ALL THE DEFECTIVE SHOCK ABSORBERS. ACTULLY IT WAS A DEFECTIVE LOT.

First service for i20 crdi is just check up and body wash. Nothing else unless the owner has some problems to be sorted. In teambhp forum, there is a post about 4th paid service costing about 8k in the HASS. Even my old santro cost around 6k so I guess this is ok. The issue is regarding parts change after warranty.

Singh : The suspension for the i20 is a major weakness even for non - defective lot.

How did you findout the suspension is gone? any abnormal noise, etc??

ArunD, what're the usual freebies offered by dealers? I'm also planning to book an i20 Petrol Sportz model in a weeks time hence need to know about the additional accessories what I can bargain with the dealer and would be useful for driving.. Thanks
