i have a ford ikon 1.6  its manufacturing year is 2006 . i would like to convert it inito a cng.... wats ur advice??

in comparison to cng ... lpg provides better power ... better convinience .... and ... better safety .............................so if any if these factors r dear to u ......lpg wud make more sense than cng

Yes, like I have said earlier, always prefer LPG to CNG.

I would prefer LPG mainly because it provides better power than CNG.  CNG is more economical, of course, and can be preferred by the ones who have extensive run/usage.

hello I have a Honda City 1999 model and want to convert it to cng or lpg...is it advisable to get the kit installed on the car...please advise which one is better...also places in delhi where I can get the kits fitted...

Conversion will reduce performance & pickup of your car to some extent, but you will soon get used to it.  LPG will give you better power than CNG, though running cost per km of CNG will be little more cheaper. There are over 2 dozens LPG kits available.  BRC (Italy), to my knowledge, is more preferred.  Here in Gujarat it is BRC almost everywhere.

1. I have a maruti versa and it converted to lpg. I want some information about lpg kit.when car running on lpg fule pump should stop but my car's fule pump running all the time. My qu. is that
is it correct or not ?
2. If it is not correct than what is the iffect of this.
3. I want detail about maruti versa lpg kit wiring.
please give your advice about this and any website name who give all imformation about gas kit

1. no, it is not corect

2. the fuel pump motor unnecessary takes a load ... and will therefore hv reduced life

3. contact th best lpg professional in ur city .... he will surely correct th situation .... i.e. ensure that th fuel pump stops when th car is in gas mode

4. havnt yet come across any such website

hey how come lpg is more safe than cng???its said lpg is heavier than air so when leaked it remains at bottom and catches fire on spark...on contrary cng being lighter reduces the chance...just need clarification on this point
