The Magna comes stock with 175/70-14 and no alloys. I am looking to get alloys fitted.

1. What would a set of 4 14" cost me?

2. What are some recommended brands?

3. What finish do you guys suggest would look BEST on a silver i20? I kinda' like how the OEM alloys look.

Hey Jascha,

Since your car is silver you can go for black alloys or black and silver with multi spokes.. Its your personal choice.

- There are 2 - 3 things here.

1. Do you want that people should notice your car when you driver on road.

     - If yes then go for silver or black and silver multispoked alloy.PY 123 , PY 140, PY 416,PY 172 will look good.

2. If you want it jazzy and classy go for these PP 222 YELLOWLIP BLACK, PY 830 BLUERING or the PY 772. These wil look classy on i20.

All above mentioned model are from platti website.

- You can even check Neo wheels site for wheel match.

Cheers.

Hope you get the rite set of alloys. Let us know what u opted for..

Thanks, Vaibhav!

I intend sticking to the standard 5-spoke alloy. In fact, I'm looking to get one that looks close to what comes stock on the i20. Just not sure what brand and more importantly, what finish to go with. Chrome is certainly out; it would have to be either black-machined, silver-machined or a bit of both.

On the Neo site, I kinda' like the Torque and Venom models. (I like the Torque better)

In my opinion, jazzy and classy dont't quite go together; one can have it either way, not both. Personally, I'm looking for alloys that would enhance the overall look of the car; so I'd go with a more classy-looking set of alloys.

Are you good at photoshop? I was wondering if I could see for myself how the models that you've talked about, look on a silver i20.

I'm sure you're aware just how confusing it can get when it comes to choosing THE RIGHT set of alloys for your vehicle.

Yes i know it's a pain to select an alloy wheel. I'll suggest the following..

- Venom - Black Machined (3rd one in that row)

- Click on More wheels and check the Techno and Urban black machined..

I suggested these since you said chrome is out. Have you checked the Plati site. No yaar i'm not good at photo shop i'm a poor developer guy Wink

Cheers,

Vaibhav

Vaibhav,

From the Neo stable, I like the Venom. What looks better - the Black Machined or Silver Machined?

From the models you suggested from the Plati stable, I could not locate the PY 140 and PY 172. (Are you looking in the 14" range category?) Are they multi-spoke alloys? I like the PY 416.

I also like the PY 518 very much; it looks A LOT like the ones that comes stock on the i20.

What do you think?

I'm sorry PY140 and PY182 (PY172 was typo mistake)  are 15" and not 14".

I agree PY518 looks quite much as the i20 Stock. Why are u not going for stock but.. any reason.

For your question in opening post.

Set of 4 alloys will cost you 14500-15500 depends on design. Don't go for set of 5 since it will be waste of money as we tend to run very less on spare tyre.

Go for PY518 if u liked it. I'll tell u one thing "The more u see options the more u'll get confused"

I'd have gone for the i20 Sportz which comes with alloys; however, I didn't think that shelling out an extra 40K for alloys plus some other cosmetic features, was worth it.

Yeah, the PY 518 resembles the stock alloys to a large extent. I might just opt for this. I'm not sure if it comes in any other finish, other than what's depicted.
