How to find out the Manufacturing Month and Year of a Car

Hello dhiraj,

if you are taking delivy on 20th aug, then its difficult to get the car manufactured on aug only. but you should accept the car which is manufactured in july/ june 2010. dont accept any car which is manufactured before april 2010. you can post your chassis no. (17 alpha neumaric + 2 nos of alphabets, see that under bonnet) to decode.

I have booked Linea last week and today i got the VIN no from my dealer which they say the vehicle is yet to be dispatched but already billed to my dealer 2 days back. The no is MCA11071B09022763LNZ. I understand this is Nov prdn from the info u have shared on the first page. Can you help me to understand the rest? Is it normal that after the vehicle is billed it may take 2 or more days for getting actually dispatched?
