Hello,

I know this facility is with moderators and is better to keep the forum tidy. Can we have a way ib which we can edit our post or delete older post which are incorrectly written so as to make it clear. I encountered this yesterday coz when i post a comment i was able to edit that for some time but after some time the edit button was not visbile and then i found out i made blunder while writing.

Just the edit post button should be permanently available so that we won't be creating unnecssary more commnets and since update time is calculated we cna check which was updated.

Just a thought.

Vaibhav,

This has been discussed in the forum earlier and the issue we enountered in keeping the Edit button forever was related to integrity. For example, we start debating on a particular point and the original poster goes ahead and edits it after all the discussion is done.

However, we can always discuss whether the allowed duration for editing the post should be increased.

Other option that we have is to repost the edited version may be with a Tag EDITED
