Yep, 3 out of 4 wires had to be replaced as per him. And price is 450 per piece plus tax. Will check about the dielectric silicone grease when I take the delivery and update.

Will appreciate if you can open your own new thread / topic to discuss your issue. Hijacking would not be beneficial

Hi culprit could be coil or spark plug wires which can be checked by replacing with another accent after that go for head.Accents heads are not very long lasting so get the oil changed at very regular intervals,as for distributor there is no distributor in accent so need not worry about it

Oops, Sorry Raaul. Thought as mine is also the same missing issue, it may benefit you in anyways. I second Sunny's opinion.

Hello!

I own a Accent gls 2000 model (50000kms) driven.I have problem regarding the starting problem, its takes approx 10seconds to start an engine. As this problem is getting very difficult for me to rectify.

I have shown the car to a good mechanic he tried changing many of things like Spark plugs, fuel pump motor, cleaned many circuits and sensor, wiring check.Still m suffering. Also mechanic is saying all my fuse are working but once they shift the fuse to other place the car starts easily but after sometime it gets back to the same problem.

I have tried showing it to many mechanics but still has a starting issue.

Please can anyone help me,i am so tired of showing to many mechanics everyday.kindly suggest

Hi,

I have a Tata indigo GLX (Petrol) car. I have fitted CNG and have been using it since last 1 year.

Recently i have been facing a weird problem. The car does not start at first attempt. It takes almost 20-30 attempts. Also it keeps jerking if run on petrol. But the moment i switch to CNG, the ride is smooth with absolutely no issues.

I happen to go to a car mechanic and he told me that SCM unit needs to replaced. The car started in first attempt after replacing my current SCM unit with the one he had. He asked me to get the new one from showroom and also told me that it will cost me around INR 15000.

I want to know what exactly this SCM unit is and does it really cost that much.

Waiting for reply.

Thanks,

Milind Patil

Check the following: Fuel pump and its internal filter, fuel filter, fuel tank (for too much dirt). Clean/replace as necessary.
