I have had the same problem with my Santro and went to a Hyundai ASS at Chennai. They quotes Rs 20K as the engine had to be removed for the rectification.

I went to a MyTVS outlet and the same has been rectified and was charged Rs 5K......Its a simple tinlkering job but requires the dadhboard to be removed.

This hsa happenend due to the leaves getting inisde the cowl and over a period of time blocking the drainage

for body works MyTVs and even Bosch are supposed to be far better than the HASS.

Glad your issue is fixed. So they didnot lower the engine, just removed the dash?

Arun.. Yes you are right . only the dashboard had to be removed.. I agree TVS has done a good job. Earlier I had a door that was damaged and when I went to Hyundai they said they had to replace the entire door and would cost 16k.

TVS did the necessary repair and painting and costed me just 6k. They did an excellent job. any day I would recommend them as against going to HASS
