I tried this and I had understeer, I tried that and I had oversteer, at the end of the corner I just ran out of talent!

Rachit, what a tease you are! Give us some red meat, or we will have your behind! Laughing

Any links or further info on the 2011 swift? or they will replace some grill or mudflap or similar small stuff they did with the 'all new SX4'?

Hey Wildon, thanks!

Yes, Moderation has _become_ tough lately, because our stalwarts are away all at the same time. To go through ~80 posts a day with context is getting tough, what with slow CW and a firewalled and slower office internet. I try my shortcuts Tongue out

The announcement section does not have any special access levels, it is just a different forum from the usual ones. Putting different access levels there is part of the improvements identified, but not yet implemented.

I see that there is no real info on  this thread, except a bumbling mod justifying a lapse. I will delete this after a while, and let just the other thread continue.

i have booked white i20 sprtz. The reason was swift was common on road. Though I sometimes think I've made the wrong decision by losing the economy and power of DDIS engine. However, I was against the fit and finish of maruti swift.

I was attracted towards the goodies offered and build quality of i20. No but the least, my parents were against swift as it was common on road.

Hey I've booked Swift 2011. I've no clue when it'll be launched. I think the main reason for this delay is that people are still buying the old look. We all should stop buying so that we get the new look as early as possible ;)

@Jayesh

I agree.  Unless we demand and stop buying old model, Maruti have no motivation to bring new technology in India.  But what will happen if they have to increase price by 10% for new model?

ofcourse they will, same thing happened to swift with 1.2l engine, where they pocketed entire excise benefits and also pocketed 10k additional from customers. Happy givings though...

Hi Guys,

i have booked for Swift, But the new swift 2011 is shorter than the existing one and ground clearance is also less 140mm compared to 170mm in existing swift. i think it may hit the speed breakers in Indian roads....
