Maruti Suzuki Swift 2011

I feel that swift wasn't meant waiting this long !
You could have bought someother car ! 

I too made a lot of inquiry at the Local Maruti dealer about the launch of Gen2 Swift. The SR told it would be launched in March 2011, but it wasn't. He was himself not sure of the possible launch time. So instead of waiting for an indefinite period for the car I purchased Next Gen i10 kappa2 Sportz and I am pretty much happy with my decision.

Maruti Dealers are still not aware of the exact date of the launch of New Swift. They are saying that even they are not informed by the company in too much of advance, only the very senior person from the Dealer side might know a little in advance. They are not taking bookings for New Swift.

Anyone has concrete information on the launch date and what changes can be expected in the New Swift + when will the New Dezire come and what changes are expected - new and concrete information only please. Thanks !

Anyone has some new concrete update on the New Swift 2011; am planning to change one of my smaller cars (if possible in this quarter of the new financial year) and really looking forward to information on the New Swift and Honda Brio (mentioning Honda Brio, although the thread is about the New Swift, since considering these two options only, as of now in petrol). I had been waiting for the launch of new maruti suzuki swift from a long time.I read a lot of speculations and hypes for new swift and also some exclusive snaps of it.But i was really dissapointed with the response the maruti guys are giving.They are neither rejecting nor annoncing the lauch of much awaited car of the year(that many says).

But I am starting to feel as if it is not a car worth waiting for so long and so desperately.

And may soon switch to some other alternative as there are many good choices available now.

May be i will have better luck next time of owning a maruti car which i loved the most, for two reasons( transperent thoughts and best service for customers)it had earlier of which i guess it has lost the first one   .

Already current swift doing well. So i think maruti suzuki won't launch it before diwali (before sept-oct). Recently i did enquiry about new swift at showroom but no one interested to talk about new swift (not even current swift) they were pushing my friend for ritz. 

Maruti is rumoured to have plans to launch the new Swift around May - June 2011, however my guess is that they will closely guard the exact date till as close to the launch as possible to not hurt the sales of the current Swift.

There are many threads where this topic has already been discussed

Any ways expect it to come out at the latter part of this year and prices are expected to go up but not by a huge amt.
