Hi,

After a lot of confusion on whether to go for Swift VDi or Figo 1.4 ZXi, I have decided to go for Figo for it's features and VFM.

Can someone (preferebly an user) tell me the mileage of figo Diesel both in City and Highway with A/C ON.

Thanks,

Hello,

LOL no one is replying about the Ford Figo Diesel mileage. Seems that people who are getting 11-13kmpl is correct and Ford is trying to hide the fact by providing electronic features. Mr. Ravi2010 if you got the Figo can you please share the mileage ?

Thanks.

Swift is tested well on Indian road, with good feedback about mileage, reliability and performance. Figo is new kid on the block and I dont trust on American Motors. Not reliable first they always look tempting later you face such horror stories.

But its upto user choice what he likes.

As per my talk with Ford dealer during TD of Figo diesel , it gives around 16-18 kmpl FE.

so , ritz or the new vista with the fiat motor is a better choice than figo !!

but, since Figo is a new launch, there are not many owners, here.

figo & fiesta share the same engine & fiesta is well know for its mileage, so there shouldnt be any doubt about the figo

only actual owners woul be able to clarify here !!

Yes, MultiJet / QuadraJet should be ahead in mileage due to DOHC engine compare to Figo's TDCI which is with SOHC.

It takes less time to do things right than to explain why you did it wrong.

Hello,

There's something not correct about Figo. Company has not mentioned mileage anywhere. No ARAI figures, no owner is disclosing and those who have are giving telling only 13-16kmpl max. and after alot of checking yesterday I came to conclusion that Ford is trying to hide something and they're bundling a lot of accessories and lowered the price of the car, so customer just forgets the mileage.

I had booked this 5 days ago, today I am gonna cancel it and go for Swift VDi. Hope my decision is correct.

Thanks.

Anyways, I will reply to this myself as I am expecting the delivery on 29 June... Stay tuned .

Kikloo - Swift is a proven car with already 5yr old on Road. I am not saying your decision is wrong but if decide to go for Swift, wait for a couple of month till the new release of Swift comes out. Because after 6 months, your friends might ask: which swift do you own??? old or new??? though it is not even a year old....
