Hey guys....From the replies you give to peoples' queries it is undoubtedly true tht you have lots of knowledge in this field of Music. Smile

I will be getting my car delivery in this coming week and I am very much confused as to what system I should install in my car.Its a Volkswagen Polo that i have booked.

I have booked the car in Pune.

A genuine question,is there difference in the power output the 2din throws and the 1din throws?

My idea of getting a 2din system fitted was because there is an open space to keep things in the centre below the space for music system(1din) which does not look good and would get covered with the 2din fitted.

Firstly, the music system options available at the dealer is the Kenwood DPX-MP5110U and 2-3 1din systems and both front and rear door speakers(small). He is costing a hefty money of arnd 22K for 2din system and 4door small speakers. There is no other option the dealer has in 2Dins.I genuinely feel he is very costly coz i enquired outside.

There is also 1 more thing the dealer tells me that if you get the system fitted from outside your electrical warranty would be void and so fit it with us...Is this true?

Can you suggest me a good combination of a music system(2din) with front door speakers, rear door or tray speaker.I also want to fit in a woofer.

Fitting a woofer system would not cause problems to the electrical system of the car rite???

My basic requirement is a good car system and fit in the woofer rite away coz wen we push it for afterwards it never happens.

I saw the Sony WX-GT77UI(the only sony option) and Pioneer FH-P6050UB and the new JVC launched 2din system in green color.

I liked the Kenwood system the dealer was giving coz it is good looking and also the USB is at the front and not with a wire attached from behind which happens in the case of Sony and Pioneer system mentioned above.

Is the Kenwood DPX-MP5110U a good option considereing the output it throws compared to Pioneer or Sony or other System?Or else i should look for something else.

My budget is around 20 - 25K.

Kindly suggest me some good options, and also some good place if u know where I can get the system fitted.

Basically from my study Sony has 52W output compared to 50W with Pioneer and Kenwood.Pioneer has 3RCA ports which Iguess is 2RCA ports in Kenwood.Color illumination in Kenwood is good comapred to the other 2.Reat you suggest me.

I have enquired at Car Art Accessories in Chinchwad.

Thanks in advance.

Getting it fitted from outside will void your warranty

I would suggest a Pioneer and JBL combination.

go for a Pioneer 2 din HU and JBL speakers.

Hello guys, this is my very first post here...

I am planning to book the VW Polo Comfortline(P) this Sunday.

I have the following queries -

1> Can a 2DIN unit be fitted in the comfortline variant? If yes, I am looking at the Pioneer P3350BT. If no, then I would go for the Pioneer 7350BT or the Sony BT3850U. Does anyone have any idea about the street-price of these units? Any other suggestions and options will be appreciated.

2> Any suggestions on speakers? How many? Their placement?

3> My stock wheels and tyres would be 14"steel & 175/70R14 respectively. I would like to go for the VW 15" alloy wheels (a local dealer here in Mumbai said he would sell hardly used original VW 15"ers for 18k. Is that a good price?), & Yokohama 195/55R15 tyres. How much should this upgrade cost me with the buyback of my 14"ers and tyres? Any other suggestions and options will be appreciated.

4> Also, how much would a keyless entry system cost?

Thanx in advance.... Cheers...

No idea about the street price of these systems but u can check with the carnation guys who would help you suggesting the best one.

For VW comfyline there is ample room for Pioneer 7350BT to fit in. hopefully u can get Pioneer P3350BT also. Get the keyless entry installed from the showroom itself, or u'll be losing the warranty on some parts. My keyless entry for i20 charged me 4k.

15'' ers looks  good for polo. check the used ones thorughly bcoz i believe very few will exchange the 15''ers.
