Car tyre Insurance covergare !!urgent!!

HI Guys,

               Need suggestions regd Car tyre insurance covergare.

Recently, my car met with accident and tyre was blasted(i tought it was a puncture and now service center people saying tyre needs to be replaced) now on the delivery day, insurance surveyor said, the tyre will not be covered as part of coverage. Please let me know whether tyres are covered as part of insurance or not?

tyres are not covered under insurance since they wear & tear a lot depending on the usage of a car.
