Banwariji, Thanks for the revamp. The page looks great! I miss the badges though.

The one-on-one comparisons are good shortcuts. But these are just dry comparisons (low effort but cute work done there!). We would have liked comparative reviews of the models, then thrown open to the public for comments AFTER the experts at CW give their opinion.

Of course, you can't officially take sides, but objective comparison of features will be good. We already have such threads in the review section or Indian Cars section, and these are the ones that have maximum activity and F L A M E s ! So something in that direction would be very welcome. And instead of muzzling the review staff at CW, we would like them to participate and give opinions.

Eagerly looking forward to the other magic being worked upon on the forums!

@ Banwariji , New formate looks refreshing . I like to suggest following two more sections if possible. 1 - Spares & consumable items cost of cars. 2 - Sales figures of cars - segment wise on monthly basis.

Dear Krishna/Ashish,

Thanks for the good words.

Krishna,

The changes are more cosmetic and navigation focused than functional. The second step would be to revamp the Car Comparison page in the similar fashion. The changes we have discussed earlier will have to wait for another update.

Ashish,

Your suggestions are welcome, however, both will have to wait. They are very useful but there are more important and directly impacting stuff that's already scheduled. We will definitely consider them when we sit internally for next major upgrade. Thanks for suggesting.

Thanks Banwari (& team) for the upgrade.

Recently Spell Check facility has been introduced (announced separately / other thread). Various other upgrades are in pipeline, I understand.  I suggest, can we not have one thread - Upgrades 2010 (or something like that) - wherein all the upgrades are notified.

Pankaj,

I created this thread separately because it's a site wide change and doesn't affect the forum directly. The other thread mentioned by you will host all the upcoming upgrades.

Does it sound good to you?

Although I am a newbie, I would like give suggestion on car reviews. I would like that all the reviews are fused together in one to give general idea what CW users think and have experienced about a particular car. So that when someone visits CW, he doesnt have to go through each and every review.

And more weightage can be given to review of regulars, long-term ownership reports and what other CW users found to be more helpful. That way, one can get clear picture of the car.

Hope that helps!!
