Hi Guys,

help me out with this. I have purchased FORD FIGO zxi DIESEL.

And I am confused for the fuel i.e I should use simple Diesel or Premium one?

Owner's Manual states as follow:

Note: We recommend that you use only high quality fuel without additives or other engine treatments.

Use diesel that meets the specification defined by EN590, or equivalent.

You can use diesel that contains up to 5% RME (bio diesel)

Prolonged use of supplemetntal additives to prevent fuel waxing is not recommended.

So, what does all this means? I should use ordinary diesel or something else..?

Use simple diesel most of the time , ocassionally fill once premium diesel say after 4/5 fills of normal fuel . During regular servicing take the inputs of autorised service station to further clean the injectors, or fuel additives

@Vs - the post to which you replied is of last year, probably forgotten by the person who posted it. Please be sure to read the post's date before replying.
