Hi

Some queries on the technical side of car.

Can u explain in detail regarding the Engine tuning.

How it is done.

What is the criteria for engine tuning

How pick up can be increased or decreased by tuning

can mileage can be increased by tuning

is the tuning done during each car service.

How we can understand  that engine tuning is required.

request inputs from you.

Well tuning is not as easy for modern (ECU-based) cars as it was for older (carburetted) ones.

For ECU based cars you need to change the ECU map to get any significant change in performance/mileage - most passenger cars are tuned for mileage rather than performance. the only "tuning" that can be done without touching the ECU is adjusting the timing belt, valves and so on - and these will only add towards bringing the engine back to factory specs.

For caburetted cars you can tinker with the carburettor, valves, timing belt, etc. to get better performance.

tuning is done by the authorised work shops..anyway in other case its better to flush ur engine if its giving troubles..flushing really improves the performance..but for that u have to ask a good mechanic n if he is genuine then he will say yes or no by looking at the condition of ur engine.its better to go to a reputed authorised workshop for this major work if u want to keep ur car for a long time..
