BS - IV compliance of Grande Punto MJD

I would like to know if my FIAT Punto Active 1.3 MJD (Diesel, CRDI) is compliant with the BS-IV norms? The make of my car is October 2009 and I purchased it on November 10, 2009. If not, how can I upgrade it?

It's not BS-IV.  Technically, upgrade is possible but practically it is not required.  BS-III or BS-IV doesn't matter - have a look at these discussions - one & two.
