CNG users will be able to guide you better.

Running cost would reduce to 1/3rd of petrol.  However, there will be some power/performance loss - but it would hardly matter in routine driving conditions & style.

dear pankaj

cng is the opt for petrol rather than diesel i m using cng since last 3 yrs there is no problem

Except for ford fiesta...this is due to some integration issues and is also not approved by RTO norms. The CNG certification process is still in progress for this model.

I am reconfirming my post, the CNG Fitmennt may be done by various dealers, however the company does not recommend CNG fitments on their vehicles, does not have approved list of vendors and does not provide warranty or gaurantee for such conversions since the technology compatibity is not technically approved...and the customers may face issues later once the fitement is done.

Thanks,

Ramesh.

hello,

ok i accept that the warrenty is void and chevy in India does not continue the warrenty.

but techenically we have a system of VSI Prins holland which has components made by Keihin Japan lpg/cng injectors and pressure regulator also made by keihin Japan and sensors made by Bosch Germany and ECu made by prins Holland so the quality is the best and we use brand with most expensive and quality components if you use cheap things then you might be right .

and even chevy is giving factory fitting cng kits in Beat Model in INDIA.

there are many people who think CNG is not good for cars like you.

but techenically it is 100% safe, safer than Petrol.

and even for environment CNG is cleaner now a days City public buses are running on CNG ? y ?

i think you dont have a complete knowledge about CNG so you dont like CNG

and I have a government approval nothing is illegal in this.

hello, It seems you have missed my reference for ford fiesta, yes you can fit CNG on ford vehicle, however the engineering on this vehicle is yet to be approved by the company....!!! no matter since you are a dealer you can fit any good kits for any vehicles that you think might suit the requirements...any ways that's your call to your customers.I don't want to confuse the readers, for ford fiesta no CNG kit as on date is technically approved as far as engineering is considered for optimum performance.

Also on the CNG information...let me mention the following for your better understanding...

The working of a CNG engine is similar to that of a petrol engine. In the petrol engine, the car’s carburetor creates a mixture of petrol droplets and air which is then supplied to the inlet manifold of the car’s engine. A spark is then introduced, causing a controlled explosion which drives the engine.

CNG can be quite easily used in a petrol engine as well. In similar fashion as the petrol engine, when a CNG connection is made and given an inlet at the carburetor, the vapours of CNG (instead of droplets of petrol) get mixed with air and are then led into the combustion chamber, where the ignition process takes place as in the petrol version. A similar mechanism is employed in MPFI versions also.

Thus, a petrol engine can easily be ported to CNG as the combustion process is completely the same.

I still have many more things to share, however we have limitations in characters..we can not exceed the limit in this forum.

Thanks,

Ramesh Uppada.

Hello,

the best kit for Chevy Optra 1.6 is Prins VSI which is Gas injector system kit includes Keihin Injectors made in Japan, Bosch Sensors made in Germany and Prins VSI ECU made in Holland.

so i think is OE Quality and Prins Kit is used Factory fitting in VOLVO Cars,Mazda,VW in Europe.

this kit cost 70,000 .

the kits of 30k are of mixure systems which is techenically not very good for chevy it can backfire.

Thanks

Cheers
