Swift Dzire VDi Service

Hi,

I drive a Swift Dzire VDi which has done 20000 KMs (in 1 yr) and is due for 4th Service (1st paid). Please let me know the approximate cost of 4th service (1st paid) done at 20000 KMs.

As per Maruti authorized service centers all oils/lubricants etc needs to be changed and are are estimating 6500-7000 for it. Estimate seems high to me, please provide your inputs.

One of my cousin had a cost of 8000+ for the service at 20000Kms for this red dzire vdi. He sold off the car at around 55000Kms.

Frankly I don't understand how come 'Dzire is in demand'. Its not that cheap to maintain, not spacious, not comfortable to travel with 3 people in rear seat.It better to buy a used honda city for its price. Cheap to maintain, good resale value, comfortable and above all the class and prestige!

Maruti's ASS and hype that you need to wait a long time after booking (as their production is low) is driving the boom.

Vikas, the cost would also include parts like oil & fuel filters etc. & labour.  It's okay at 20K kms.

20K service should cost about 5K inclusive of labor and consumables.

I just had my car's first paid sevice at 20000 km and it costed me 7500 at Noida Vipul motors.

Dont know if the rates are same in New Delhi. Please share the price if anyone has done it in New Delhi.

Sad that they charged me 12K for 20000km service. The breakpad was changed and used synthetic oil. Folks, I would like to know still it would charge 12K? Is it high?

Pls check and confirm if the manufacturer recommends synthetic oil change in your user manual.

This could increase your service cost by about 3 - 4 k. Break pads may need change at 20k kms but that depends on if you are facing any issues in breaking (longer time to stop, scrapping noise from rear when you break etc).

this service cost at 20k seems more than the i20 crdi (about Rs 4800 - 5000).

Unfortunately, you have been overcharged to a huge extent. Service cost of Rs. 1000 max + 4k max for synthetic oil and 1.5k for brake pads. Rest all will come to around 8k even if you take the highest estimates. Could you post a scanned copy of the bill and along with the dealer details?

I just dropped my swift dezire for 20000kms service  and the estimate found to be Rs 7500.

Is it the service cost at authorised service centre or will it be less with others. ?

But with the performance of the vehicle I am not for the compromise for the 4th servce cost.

weather they will change all the oils or just top up?
