I need those SX4 VXI steel rims. Anyone planning to upgrade to alloys and wanting to dispose their rims (based out of bangalore) can reply in this thread. I'm don't like my alloys offset (tyres protuding out), so will go for factory ones. Bent rims / older than 6 months pls excuse. The MGA part number of new steel rim is 43210M55K00-09L costing 960 / rim. I would buy it from MGA within a week, so trying my luck on a recent rim (and saving someone from lesser evaluation of dealers).
btw, those who want ZXI rims, MGA part no - 43210M55K50-ZFV (5 spoke) - each costing 4639 per rim and 43210M55K70-27N (10 spoke new ZXI) - each costing 4606 per rim
btw, did anyone realize that upgrading to ZXi rims needs upgrades to strut assy, coil and knuckle for following reasons:
1. SX4 Zxi knuckle accounts for 50mm offset in factory alloys
2. GC of Zxi is 10mm more, so the mount points in struts are accordingly welded.
3. Also the coil part numbers are different for rebound effect.
We may not realise this in a day-to-day driving, but suspension is stressed due to non-scientific upgrades.
I can provide you part numbers of knuckles, struts and coil if anyone is serious about changing to sx4 zxi wheels
