What did he say about the root cause?
There is no cause as its present in every tubeless tyre, he said its impossible to manufacture a tubeless tyre without those joints some brands hide it with different patters and some dont. He even made me notice that this sort of joint runs parallel to the inner sidewall.
It is not convincing. Suggest you to take a second opinion. Tyre safety (and being cent percent sure about it) is utmost important. My car has tubeless tyres and have not noticed any such thing. From the pictues posted by you it still looks to be an issue (or a manufacturing defect).

Jay, if it was a defect it wouldnt be there in all the tyres at service center, even mrf,goodyear had it!
