This certainly is a defect and should be changed under warranty/Gaurantee.

... by the way can this cause tyre burst? Im going out of town this weekend, safe enough?
In my opinion, tyre condition for out-station trip cannot be termed as safe.

Adi,

It may cause a tyre burst. So  take it to te hdealer and see what the ysay.
In our old Accent, one of the tyres had developed a "bubble" ( a  swelling on the outer part of the tyre). The dealer replaced it with a new tyre as it was a manufacturing defect in the tyre.

This sure is a manufacturing defect. Send pictures to tyre company too. You need to do followup but i am sure they would give you a free replacement.

How old is your car, in case warranty still prevails - get them replaced. Dealer might not agree at first go but is bound to replace if car is in warranty

Do not take it for long drive as any additional impact, if any, might trigger bursting

Don't go on an outstation trip without getting your tyres examined, especially if these are not tubeless ones! This usually happens when you have driven more than 25-30k kms in bad conditions and above normal hot temperatures! Your tyres may be defective due to which they have just aged prematurely, and dont try high speeds at a constant pace for a longer duration!

Had a meeting with Senior Service Manager of JK tyres, after one week chasing for appointment :P. He is a very nice person, very knowledgeable, very well knows everything about tyre industry!

He showed same symptoms on other cars there with different tyre brand and amazingly all had it! even showed it on brand new set of tyres, i was also curious on how many more kms my tyres will give in, for which he removed some sort of instrument for measurement and instantly said more 40k kms !!!!

Mods please change the title to resolved

Well... I'm not convinced - but it doesn't matter Laughing
