Jitendra,

Total kit cost me 24000/ with complete installation everything,

usually i fill 8 kg gas (21x8 = 170 Rs) and it runs around 160 or 150 kilo meters depends on traffic,

performance in AC fluctuate my car pickup in 1st or 2nd gear without AC it runs almost same as petrol car.

When you install CNG kit on any car, you feel slightly vibration on your car.

Jitendra,

I got the CNG kit installed(basic kit without TAP and lambda) in my Santro for 36000/- in August 2007.but, now the kits are much cheaper.

On cng i have driven almost 55000km till date and i am very happy with the performance.Initially the pick-up was more of a concern but since the day i have got TAP installed- my car is just 5% less peppier than when i use to run her on petrol.

There is no difference in A/c performance... its still the best.

Syal CNG, Lajpat Nagar.

vary cooperative staff and deal with only geniun parts.

but 24000/- is standard rate in all over delhi rite now. and depends on bargaining.

CNG is totaly safer than lpg.

Hey, although I am late to reply, I think this question can be better answered as -

1. Go for CNG with Genuine "Tomasetto" Itly which may cost you Rs.30,000 with out Lambda.

2. Vehicle new or old does not matter. Provided the OLD vehicle is in good maintained condition.

I have Zen Vxi 2005 and have following facts-

When I convered to CNG my odometer was 68570 km. No Lambda kit required as ECM Euro III.

Presently, my avg running is about 100 km daily and CNG Cost is Rs.40 per KG at GAIL station.

Per Kg of CNG runs my vehicle for 27-28 km.

As the petrol price is incresing day by day the CNG is the most echonomic option fot that. The branded CNG kit is costs neally about 35K, that stated over here is correct with the fitting chages included or discluded in it depends onn the dealer. Nodought after iunstalling the CNG kit  the vehicle work as properly as before ecept the average get decresed some what by the 2 to 3 kmafter couple of years. But that should not affect the car performance that much. Some care should be taken while installing the CNG kit are

Only install the branded kit

Get fitted it infront of you

Make some initial setting as per the requirement

I had installed the CNG kit for 23k with TAP in Mumbai and used for 12 months, vehicle had performed very well, i have driven 22k in 12 months I used to get avg of 23km / per kg ( cost of 1kg CNG kg in Mumbai was : 35 Rs ), couple of months back i sold my car and bought Swift diesel and my highway running to out station had increased and finding CNG station out side Mumbai city is a pain.

Swift Diesel returns avg of 19km / lt ( diesel cost id 45rs in Mumbai ),so its not costly than CNG, makes sense to upgrade to Swift diesel.
