I was thinking of it since a long time and now i am here with my suggestion/request.

Sometimes we get few questions in our mind-that we want to ask & you really dont want to start a new thread for those petty questions.

for example:-today while coming back from office i saw a car with a registration number starting with "SK" and i am curious to know which state that car belongs to.

Ofcourse, this can be found on google. But, my point here is that- this way we all can increase or share or learn new things that we/others are not aware off.

whatsay guys?

We can have a FAQ section.

No issue. Can we start with a query?

Where can I find a video how-to for how to truss up a chicken?

Search it on Google, and voila! Nearly all the entries on the page take you reliably to an online video about trussing up a chicken. You think the collective wisdom on the forum can match that? No ways!

Also it is good to keep up your google quotient by making up search phrases for  the best responses from Google.

So, in short, not much fun cluttering up the forum, trying to be a 'desi' knock-off of Google. We are better at other things.

Varun, in hindsight, I am sorry for the nasty-ish sounding reply above.

But an individual thread in any of the forums where it belongs is better for any queries that may come up. If it does not fit anywhere, General discussion forum is where it certainly can be put up. I don't think a separate section is required, as a thread can be as short as a single post or as long as several hundred of them.

Wotsay?
