Has anybody got the Subscription money refund which Carwale claims we can get in case the advertisement doesn't work. How to get the same?

carwale are litterely cheaters, they never tell the policies in the begining.... Mark my words they will do anything they can to stop your money refund..Typical indian business mentality.

They dont reply to emails for refund and they have all blah blah reasons for cheating

I had listed my car on 15th Oct. I did not opt for subsrciption by default. Gaot a call from Carwale in a matter of few minutes and guy lured me with the money back guarantee that in case car is not solved in 45 days, we will refund your money without any condition. On 15th November, I wrote a mail in reply to a sms recieved that listing will be renewed automatically. I had written in the mail that once 45 days are over please refund my money.

Then I called 2-3 times in between and then all times favrt message "All associates are busy". I dropped a mail on 6th Feb but no reply again ..fianlly I could make a contact on 11th March. They said there is policy that we have to call after 45 days and 30 days are there for refund. I have a simple question - why I was not informed about the policy in the invite call. In case I am sending a mail on 15th November, why the hell no body replied to it. It is clearly visible that there is lack of intention and honesty in the operations. You trap the customer and then suck his enrgy and time when he comes back for refund. I appreciate your efforts in helping me for my car sale but this kind of typical cheating behaviour must be brought to public notice so that you have the audacity to tell policies in the invite call..

Agree Abhishek. I didnt press for the refund since on the last day I was abale to close the deal for my car. but my experience with the customer care phone number has been pretty similar too.

They would keep you on hold for 10-15 minutes and you would hear people talking and laughing in the background. Even repeated calls do not result and ultimately the number goes in engage mode forever. I think this is the bad part of carwale, perhaps they are not looking for a repeat customer. hope in future they improve their service standard.

I'm Banwari Lal Sharma and I'm a CarWale representative here on the forum. Please accept my apology for the inconvenience caused from our side.

My claiming that "we are not cheats" won't help CarWale. Every person who has asked for a refund has got one. Of course there are some specific cases wherein the refund has been gone into the wrong channel hence this inconvenience. I admit that whatever you guys say must have been the case but trust me, CarWale's intention is not to keep your money. But bad on our part that we even gave you this impression.

Please write to me (banwari at carwale dot com) with details of your car listing and refund requests made. Please also mention who handled your case (if you remember) and forward me the refund denial emails (if there were any) and I will get it sorted next week.

The data I'm asking for is to help us improve and doesn't link with the refund in anyway. You will get your money refunded for sure.

Folks, I vouch with the notions in this forum...I have been trying to get my subscription refund for a week now...with 2 emails send to carewale (including Banwari) there has been no response. This leads me to believe that the money back gaurantee is just a luring option.. Banwari what happened to your claims?? I've send 2 emails to you & have not got any response...what happened??

Whoa! First my apologies for not able to take it forward in time.

I agree that you sent me an email four days ago which I forgot to forward to the person handling refunds purely because I read it in a meeting on my mobile. I thought I will just go to the person and tell him in person. But the meeting got delayed and I simply forgot about it. In fact yesterday morning I did follow up with the person as what happened to the email I sent to you and he told me that I never sent him an email! I opened my mobile to forward him the email and I again got stuck with something and I forgot to forward it. Your email could have reached the right person since you sent it to contact at carwale also but then you marked me a CC and it must have been considered attended! Sigh!

Your second email too was received during a meeting but this time I responded as soon as I came out. But you reported the issue here almost immediately (within 10 mins) after sending me an email. Now this cannot be considered as second email went without response. I know I'm efficient but expecting me to respond within 10 mins is a little too much! Laughing

You will get a call from CarWale tomorrow and the matter will be resolved. It's not a claim, it's a promise. If it doesn't happen, you have my number, call me anytime. Smile
