Hello Sir I am looking out a cheap car within a budjet of 50000 and I found one on this site which is Ford Escort 1.8d 1997 make with 38000/00 on price. I want to know about the milage per liter of diesel of this car? And how is the maintanence? The avaliability of the spares and To you how do you think is the deal? Thnks

Dear Avinash, Ford Escorts are high on maintenance. Also they require more frequent maintenance, spares are not very cheap and are not easily available. This car is not advisable considering the fact that your budget is just 50k. You might not afford it in terms of maintenance. Don't you think, its very hard to find a 1997-M800 in 38,000 while you are being offered a car which had a price tag of 8 lakhs sometime back? Avoid it, find some small car.
