I own a ford ikon 1.3 , Model 2004, Rocam engine , one of the dealer Surya Car Master govt. approved fitment center, located at Dabri extn. Dabri - Dwarka Road , west Delhi has tried to convince me for the cng conversion in my car.
They have offered Tomasetto / BRC kit @ Rs. 26,500/= with 14 kg cylilnder ,italian valve ,advancer to be installed alongwith a cobra unit for enhanced pick-up ( without RC endorsement )at this price. He also assures of trouble free running with cng as he has undergone several trials and done lot of experimentation on Ikon cars. But mentions not to use AC while taking start from red light crossings.
I want your valued opinion if I should opt for this cng conversion in my car and is the dealer telling the truth while trying to convince me.
