Hello Arun.udt,

                  Sorry to hear about the accident. As biniy mentioned it is not always required to go fo insurance claim since you loose the claim. If the damage is not much major and include some plastics then u will need to shed more or equal to 50%. So wait if not major.

I claimed insurance for my Zen and the service dealer didn't require any FIR if it's a self damage.

So claim only if it's a major damage. Post pics if possible so that others can see the damage and let you know that insurance should be claimed or not.

I was with speaking my wife &take reverse in night time, back side ammbasdar car was parked i didnt seen in glass..
