I believe so, Binoy. I am not sure about quality and brand popularity of Pirelli over other famous tyre brands in India but 1700/1800 is a steal. We get virtually nothing for this price. I had bought Apollo Aceleres (185 / 70 R13) for my car last month and they costed me 2800 each. Since they were bought from a wholesale dealer, I could got them at this price otherwise all Apollo dealers were asking for insane prices. I had to shell out extra 700 for fitting, wheel balancing and alignment (which got nullified because he bought two of the old cars for the same amount).

exactly-Pirellis-pilot sport and the precedas-i have used in the Nissan Altima and they are the best tyres i have used till date-they are also one of the most expensive and hence 1.7K for a pirelli sounds like the second hand rate for the brand!-Mustang sure is lucky

1.7? Hello? 2.8k
Maybe the guy would have given it to my dad at a discounted rate, but I was getting the Miochelin at 3. So my dad bought Pirelli as Pirelli is our (mine and Dad's) favorite.

I tried this and I had understeer, I tried that and I had oversteer, at the end of the corner I just ran out of talent!

Yes it's a typo. 1700 is impossible. Sorry its 2700-2800. If I get Pireelis for 1700 I would buy 10 instead of 4 or 5.

That typo led to quite a meaningful discussion

Honesty is not a Spare Wheel that you pull out when in trouble. It's a Steering Wheel that keeps you on the right path throughout the life's journey.
