hello everyone,

LPG is the best fuel for automobiles. But there are certain things which need to be taken care of. First  thing is , only use LPG when engine is at its working temperature. and when at night , before shutting off the engine , convert it to petrol only. No LPG must be remain in the head and fuel injection system of engine , otherwise LPG will rust it. One more thing , since LPG requires only 20% of air as compared to petrol  , so block ur air filter inlet with plastic adhesive tapes , and leave only 20 % open. This will improve ur mileage and better pick up. But keep in mind one thing , this trick will reduce ur petrol average , so if have to drive on petrol for longer distance , remove the tape from air inlet. and try to install a timing advancer in ur car for better performance from any good LPG fittment center. LPG as a fuel increases ur engine life , while CNG will increase wear and tear of engine , bcoz engine runs cooler on LPG .

HELLO MR. HARRYTYAGi,

Sorry to say freind, I am not agrre with your saying that for better milage, one has to chock the air inlet pipe from where engine sucks air for the combustion, we all should keep in our mind that , all petrol runs vehicle is made for petrol use only, and now a days we are retrofitting lpg or cng, here all must know about the combustion ration of all types of fuel availabel, but combustion ratio for all the fuel is not same, and it is also varried vehicle to vehicle according to te capacity of the engine some air inlets are bigger in diameter and some are smaller so that the out let pipe (tail pipe or exhaust pipe) also varried according to that, yes it is true to run on lpg we need lesser air , for that we use mixer on the mouth of air intek, mixture reduces the flow of the air according to the requiremnets of engine, so please DO NOT use any plastic objects or any such kind of things to block air or i can say that do not choke engine noes it may breathe less.

Timing advancer is nothing but to setting the timing for fire of the spark plugs, lpg run vehicle needs advance firing so we need to fix it, but once it is fitted petrol timing will be no more as default setting, so you may get poor milage and little bit of knocing sound. but yes it works nice on lpg.

thanking you
