Here I would team-up with Krishna against the 2 big Bs (Banwari & Binoy). Lol
Jokes apart, none of us would have any reservation if GENUINE members of the forums/community benefit from 'trading' or from anything for that matter. But how much are the members losing in absence of ‘trading’? The benefit aspect sounds good but keeping non-genuine members away is not an easy task to accomplish (none of the Mods are available 24X7). Not that I/we want to shy away from the challenges it may pose - but the question is, is it worth all the trouble?
Anyway, let's give a try. I would be too happy if my apprehensions turn wrong.
More/instant powers (tools) that Mods are going to be equipped with soon, will be of a great help in keeping non-genuine members/spammers away (instantly).
But let’s do one thing - introduce the 'double opt-in' proposed by Krishna to verify the credentials of members registering in the forums - FIRST. 'Trading' can wait till then (what's the hurry?). After all, 'double opt-in' is the need of the hour even otherwise (it was proposed once earlier too).
Honesty is not a Spare Wheel that you pull out when in trouble. It's a Steering Wheel that keeps you on the right path throughout the life's journey.
