I own an Indica V2 2001 October model, clocked 56000 km. After 30000 km service noticed some engine oil cosumption, which is increasing slightly, but progressively. Presently it is about 1litr/1500km approximately. Also noticed presence of engine oil in intake manifold. engine revs up briskly on start up sometimes, but without prssing accelerator pedal. i feel it due to burning of engine oil. What could be the reason and how can it be fixed?

If engine oil is not leaking somewhere (which is found in maximum Indicas) then there is some problem with gaskets or piston rings. Show the car at a Tata workshop and state the problem thoroughly.
