hello..

guys my tauji is getting the Discontinued waganR Vxi 1.1 today...bcoz dealor here is giving heavy discount og Rs30k.

he is not opting for duo variat bcoz og horrible rreviews by many duo users around.

he is planning to get lavato kit installed in his brand new car soon after the dilivery.

so the question is....is it advisable to run brand new car on lpg or not..

if not..then after how many kilometers lpg kits should be installed in waganR?

lavato automatic kits here in jaipur is costing around 15k..is it correct?

Installing the LPG kit may void your warranty. Careful.

LPG can be fitted on your car. It should cost Rs. 20-22k. Make sure you get the LPG fitting ratified on your RC book.

Expect a 10% drop in performance and mileage on LPG. But it is more than compensated by the low cost of Auto LPG.

CNG kits can be fitted in any petrol car. Go for a recognised brand and with someone who has worked with your car model before.

I have heard that power reduces when LPG/CNG kits are insalled......

Yes, in a sence that for climbing a up slope, you need to drive in lower gear compared to that of petrol. gas operated cars are load sensitive.

CNG/LPG kit can be installed on any petrol car. while choosing out of two few points need to be considered -

1] Economy

2] Density of Gas stations in the area you mosty move around - for example in Gujarat one can find many CNG gas stations but very less LPG stations.

3] Installation to be done from a reputed garage

Mr.Deepam,

Also i heard that CN/LPG kits in fact damge the engine. So if only the power ges reduced by 20%,Still it is acceptable, but if it will damage the engine then we should think very carefully whether to go for these kits

regards

NO PLEASE PROVIDED YOU RUN YOUR CAR ON PETROL EVERY THIRD DAY. HOWEVER, NOW A DAYS KITS HAVE A ARRANGEMENT THAT WHENEVER YOU START YOUR CAR,IT WILL BE ON PETROL AND AFTER SOME TIME IT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CONVERTED ON GAS. EARLIER IT WAS TO BE DONE MANUALY.
