CNG/LPG Kit in car

Is it safe to fit a cng/lpg gas kit in maruti alto/ indica petrol / santro cars and when to fit the kit and also recommend me from the above listed cars which is best in milage and technology. Also tell me which gas kit is safe and economical in comparision to petrol

Dear Kamal, Both type of kits i.e. CNG/LPG are safe and can be fitted to any of the mentioned cars. Maruti Alto is the best fuel economic car among the three. Santro is the best in technology. Safety is not an issue with either kit. CNG will be more fuel economic.

CNG .LPG kits are totally safe....pls make sure u get it installed from a trused workshop and remember to get it registered on ur RC. cheerd

I hav maruti 800 Std model (1998). can i get LPG kit fitted. As of now its mileage is around 15 km/Ltr. Will it be successfull. pls reply ....

Maruti 800 can easily be fitted with and operated on LPG, no hassles with that. A lot of 800s are running successfully on botrh the aternate fuels available in India - CNG and LPG. Just take care of one thing towards the installations - get it done by a skilled professional at an authorized dealership.

n just for knowledge i want to kno,does the RTO register old cars for LPG ??....like old cars as in car more than 10 yrs old ???...... or ne specific age limit for cars for the LPG conversion..?

I have heard that power reduces when LPG/CNG kits are insalled......

Yes regarding Italian and the Minda kit.....

If we install CNG Kit, does it work for LPG also? Please confirm.
