Dear Sir, Let me be frank. I am bit conservative in Investing a lot of money on cars considering my usage (don't want to invest more than 3.5 lacs). I will be using the car for weekend getaway & rarely during weekdays. My usage will be around 600kms a month. My family size is around 5 members. I have started researching on small cars right now as I will be buying in about 2-3 months from now. WagonR is an excellent car... but a lot of my family members have it & I am bit bored with the boxy design. Not happy with SANTRO becoz of its poor leg room I LUV SWIFT & EVERYBODY SUGGESTED ME TO GO FOR THE CAR HOWEVER MY USAGE IS VERY MINIMAL DON’T WANT TO INVEST TOO MUCH & PARK IT IN GARAGE I narrowed down to Alto Lxi after a lot of research however my friends are suggesting me to go for Indica Xeta as its value for Money. I am really not sure of the quality & after sales service compared to maruti. Though the pricing of xeta is very attractive. I am bit inclined with Indica XETA GLG, coz of it space, pick-up, ac, decent beige interiors, power windows & central locking it offers. Please suggest me if it’s a wise decision. I do not want to repent later. Please enlighten me with your thoughts & opinions. On the car, pros & cons. Thanks Guys, Sridhar

Dear Sridhar, Tata Indica Xeta GLG is a nice car. Comes with lots of quality features that the competition can't even think of providing at the same price. Indica Xeta's engine is far more refined than the earlier petrol Indica. Some other improvements are done in interiors of the car which make it more appealing. Car is very good value for money. We find no problem with Xeta as such. You can definitely go for the car.

Sridhar, Engine performance of Xeta is very good. However, like all Tatas, it too may have some smaller maintenance issues. It will give you fuel economy of at least 10 kmpl in worst traffic conditions and AC on. There is no reliability issue with Tatas. We find a huge number of happy Tata customers around.
