Hi,

I have a suggestion regarding the section "Compare Cars". Say for example I was looking for cars in segment Safari, bolero, Tavera, etc....(assuming that I dont have any info about the model, its type - petrol/diesel etc). Now such a person when starts comparing the different versions of some car doesnt know the difference between variants. So the person has to go back to Car company's website. Drop-down doesnt solve the purpose if person is not having the info of the variant of the car.

I would suggest that there should be a link/popup etc next to the Car selected, which can guide user for more info about a CAR and its variants.

Example: Chevrolet  ---> Tavera ----->Neo LS 10 Seater......  (Link for more info on Tavera Variants)

If you compare different versions of the same car through research section (manufacturer-wise), you get to see all the versions of that car before you could select 4 (max) for comparison - have a look (for instance).  But that's not currently possible through compare cars (all manufacturers).  What you suggest is a good idea - especially for people who may not be conversant with the details.

Abhishek,

I don't think one needs to go to manufacturer's website to know details on a car version. On car comparison page, every car has a link "More details", this link leads to detailed features/specs of that particular version.

Did I get it or you wanted to suggest something else?

Maybe suggestion was for an alternate UI, where you have multi-layered menu llike start menu->Programs->Accessories->Paint: CW example Maruti Suzuki->Ritz->Ritz Vxi BS IV

Currently we have three different drop down boxes, and the functionality is identical.

It is just UI rearrangement. The menu cannot give precise details of a variant as Banwari already said.
