Also, i think TATA should come out with its famous quadrajet engine on Indigo CS model, although there is no such news now.

It will be an instant hit, & will eat up the a very good share of Swift, Ritz, Punto, Fabia , Polo & Figo !!

Tata is now promoting the new Indigo CS with new CR4 engine .

They claim an unbelieveable mileage of 23kmpl !!

How far is it true. Any actual owners yet??

What is the new CR4 engine ??

Friends,

I want to change tyres for my Indigo CS from stocke tyres JK (175/65 - R14) which has served me 52000 kms now.

I enquired in the market . Bridge stone & Yokohama costing me around Rs. 4600, wherease apollo cost Rs. 3750.

Which tyre do you suggest ? I want comfort & longivity !!

I heard TATA will be launching Manza CS with the famous Quadrajet engine this Auto Expo in Jan, is it true??

Its an excellent VFM car. There are other CS business people on the group especially crosscap. He has a generally present there. Will be useful to analyze material but I think he has a petrol

The reason Tata did not use Quadrajet engine, is because tata has its own diesel engine which makes almost same power as 1.3 litre Fiat engine. Using own engine will keep the cost low.

However I wonder, why tata did not use 1.4 litre petrol for this big car .... earlier Indica had 1.4 litre petrol engine which was making 70 - 74 BHP.




Driving is privilage, not a right.

The CR4 engine in Indigo eCS has been serving for almost one year. Owners plz share your experience with this common rail engine.
