Wow Partha - you are lucky to still have that car!! Well finding a new steering wheel and indicator might not be easy - but then what is wrong with them to opt for replacement. Maybe they could as well be repaired (I'm sure many garages would know how to repair the old Fiat).

Well Partha, unfortunately I don't know from where spares for your car are available...and my guess is that most car spare shops won't be stocking spares for such an old model. You could however get in touch with your local taxi-wala (if you have them in Kolkata) and find out what they do to get their cars serviced/fixed.

Well - chor bazar is literally that, stolen things are sold there. I have been there myself - but did not see any car related stuff being sold (apart from things like speakers, car stereos and like) - definitely did not see any steering wheels or indicator panels as far as I can remember (but then again, that was a long time ago).

Well Thanks for the information

I am also planning to buy a old scrap looking for the same. I think a scrap car will not cost me more than 15K

Yeah, you could salvage some parts out of that and use them in your car.

Yes you get a lot of stuff in Mumbai's Chor Bazaar, including some very rare switchgear and stuff.

If you're adventurous, you can try ebay - there are a lot of Millecento bits for sale from Italy including meters, original headlamps and the like.  You wont find that kind of stuff at home.

I've bought quite a lot of stuff for my Millecento ('54) from ebay, including a very old Abarth gear-lever knob that I havent used so far.

Keep those wheels turning!
