I am getting delivery of my new I20 Asta Petrol in the next couple of days. I wanted to replace the tyres with Yokohoma tyres. Can u please suggest what tyre size I should upgrade with or I should stay with 185/65/R15 ? Secondly other than yokohoma is there any other tyre that I can opt for?

 Partha ,

195/60 r14 is a good option,or you can go upto 205/60r14

you can look at bridgestone potenza, yokohama avs 100

Hii Henry, Yeah I exchanging the tyres @Rs13500 for 5 and getting the 5 Yoko for  Rs7.5K more is it a good deal?

And Asta is comming with a R14 Alloy so I cant change that i belive, secondly does upgrading the rim size makes problem with the speedo?

Partha the deal is good!

Upsizing either in width and rim size if within the stipulated parameters would not cause any problems at all(except in ride, braking and handling). In all practical cases a rim up size would make a slight change in the meter readings.

Yoko A drives are more durable, run of the mill tyres, the S drives and other series are more performance oriented.
