Is Palio dependable

I want to buy a Palio and all my friends and collegues have warned me against it because of spare part problems etc etc... Is this true or is Palio another victim of our very Indian mindset of high mileage-low maintainance?

Dear Aditya, Your friends and colleagues are quite right about the Fiat problems. Fiat is not at all doing well in India at least. However Fiat Palio doesn't have much problem in terms of spares today, but the future of this car is not certain. Buy Palio if you don't care about resale and you are prepared to face these ultra-poor-after-sales-services of Fiat. Indians don't have much money to waste in fuel and spares hence we don't any problem in their high-mileage-low-maintenance mindset. In any case, Fiat is not the victim of this mindset at all.
