Hey Guys,

I have quick question abt Gears, its bit hard to move specially 1st and 4th.

Just wanna to know its same behaviour with new car. As my first told gear shifting is pretty hard on your car.

Are you making sure, you press the Clutch completely before change of gears ? If yes, and you still experience the problem,  take it to the show-room explain him the problem in detail and if need be try driving the test-drive vehicle again. That would give you more insight.

recently I saw the low fuel indicatoe flashing(yellow) n I drove almost 15 kms after that n stopped ata station n got the tank full,,the fuel filled in was 39.xx litres..so I assume the warning light starts dlashing when fuel becomes less than 7 or 8 litres..

There is feature in i20 (might be specific to Asta model)

Autolock of doors if the car reaches speed of 40kmph

It could be enabled in your car through ASS. Using G- Scan, they could enable this feature. I got it done in my car yesterday and it is nice to have.

Guys,

I'm suprised that this feature is default (Autodoor lock) for all i20, As soon as you put the ignition automatic its locks your doors ... and if you unlocked the doors in starting its autolocks again if your car reached around 40 KM.

Hey Sagar ..i'm going out of the thread.. to just make sure that ..there feature should active.

Regards

Akhilesh

Yes! there is  this feature available. and if you search carwale.com for i-20 ; then  one of our forum-mate Sandesh has already enabled this feature.  There are other features available on G-Scan and you may wish to check those as well.

hello all,

i drive a i20 magna diesel, of wat i have noticed, after the fuel indicator glows you can drive about 35 to 50 kms (not recommended). it could be approx 3 to 5 lts.

Tried and Tested - i drove my car with the glowing fuel indicator for about 33 kms.

Hope This Helps...

DRIVE RESPONSIBLY.

DONT DRINK AND DRIVE.

this is useful info for i20 owners. I believe you better tank up from the nearest good fuel station as soon as the low fuel light glows. Since I use my i20 crdi regularly, I tank up everytime at half full. I hope my low fuel light is working though.

Driving when the low fuel light is on should be  only for emergencies till the next fuel pump. This way you avoid any settled 'dirt' in the tank from getting into the injectors.
