1. Though our monthly running is very less, we decided to buy a diesel. Should I run the car every day, say for a small round around the streets? Or is it enough if i just the crank the engine every day?

Why you selected desel?

Waiting period is 4 months, since we know the dealer, delivery is 'on demand'. Hence decided to get it after my exams.

Bought diesel cause we will be able to use it more frequently, no point paying 7L and keeping the car inside the garage due to higher petrol priceSmile

That's great news/decision.  Congratulations Sachin Smile

Swift/Dzire Diesel is better than its petrol counter-part (like all diesel cars generally are).  It will give you more of driving pleasure.  Maintenance etc. - there's nothing to worry.
