If someone sells at higher price, people will say, no high for a Fiat car or better buy a brand new one instead of 2nd hand at that price. Or if somebody is selling at cheaper price, then also reason to worry.

If you have someone close, who know a bit about cars, you should ask him to drive around for a longer distance and see if there is anything unusual in the car. Then get an expert mechanic to inspect the car in all possible aspects. Price definitely seems too enticing.

Hi Vaibhav...

May be Its a Accident Vehicle ... or May be there is a urgency of money.

You Just compare that vehicle with Brand new one.. Other wise you take a good mechanic with you and show it to him he will find out if it is Accident vehicle or Not....

If a vehicle had an accident , then its possible to rebuilt the body as previous.. But If you observe very carefully you will come to know its a accident vehicle....

Usually Every body Selling the brand new one for low price only for 2 things... One it had an accident or he needs money very urgently....

Please My forum friend Check entire vehicle clearly before buying it....

Punto features are good. According to my friends, it gives 14 to 17 in  city and highway respectively. If it is good one go for it.. But Take one of your friend who knows this stuffs and of course one good mechanic. Good Luck

Where is the car currently? If in Mumbai, you can get it checked through the CW partnered tech evaluation team - they charge ~1K but then there should be no doubt about the details of the car's status.

(But from all indications, it looks like in Pune, where it might be difficult)

Hi Vaibhav,

Its really great, if you are getting such a fantastic deal. But before taking any furthor steps make it sure for everthing. Take test drives, mechanic checking, Service center inquiry, exact reason behind selling car and all. Once you satisfied then buy the car. All the best

Hey Vaibhav,

I think that every one forgot was that, You need to check the documentation also for the car. In some cases there is a possiblity that it might be a stolen car. Just get the engine checked by a Fiat Authorised Dealer. As it is the car will be under the warranty period. And check one more thing that how old the car is i.e. the manufacturing date of the car. And if all goes well go ahead with the car.
