  • Don’t rev the engine just before you turn it off – it’ll cost you extra fuel, and can be harmful especially in the case of turbocharged motors.

    Yes, that is applicable especially for TATA's TDI engine. Since you have opted for QJD which is FIAT made will not affect you much. QJD is far refined engine compare to TATA's TDI. TDI requires compulsory idling before drive start / after finish.
