Buying process - Ritz ZXi

hi every one, i've booked my ritz zxi on 5th february from RNS motors, hubli. At the time of booking the executive promised me to deliver the vehicle within 3 weeks that is before the 25th of feb. but it's 8th of march now the executive is clueless about the car . when i call up the manager , he tells that he is not aware of the delivery status and he has already sent the indent, since it is a car with ABS and AIRBAGS its delivery will be very late and i'll not be able to get the car before last week of march ! that comes to a waiting period of 7-8 weeks. Is this really true?

when i call up the maruti people they say that only the dealer will be knowing abt the delivery status and not them !! here neither the dealer is aware of the delivery status nor the maruti people! whom shud i contact? or is it that the dealer is playing fool with me? should i cancel the booking and book with an another dealer? the dealer has given me only the order no. Will they also give the chassis or the engine no. at the time of booking. because of the delay in the delivery i've to shell out an additional 10,000 rs due to hike in the recent budget. feeling very bad abt it

I don't think the dealer is playing with you. You try to contact some senior authority there. Try to pressurize them saying, if they are not delivering, you would cancel the booking. Also parallelly call up other dealers and ask for the availability of the car. They will not give the engine/chassis number unless the car is physically reach their showroom and allotted to you. 

You have to pressurize them, ask them to call up other RNS showrooms in other parts of Karnataka, like Bangalore etc.
